Building and Construction

Building and ConstructionThe building industry is a huge sector of the economy, it provides up to 10% of the world's GDP, sets the pace of growth and affords jobs to many related industries. Being one of the most important industries, building as a litmus paper characterizes the state of the economy as a whole in this or that region.

Requirements for residential or commercial buildings are becoming increasingly demanding. This is mainly determined by state energy standards, fire safety measures, local construction standards and last but not least the functional and design requirements of their owners. In order to meet all these requirements, architects and designers must carefully specify the relevant materials and components, because more than 2/3 of the cost of the building refers to the construction and structural elements and their installation.

As for the volume of investments in building and construction materials, it is obvious that the competitiveness of manufacturers largely depends on the use of modern and efficient production and construction methods. Gluing technology is already an industry standard for many assembly processes.

Bonding and sealing in many cases can replace traditional or more complex conventional connection methods and can help optimize production processes and thus provide significant cost savings in construction.
